Business Development Managers

We are seeking energetic sales professionals to grow the product sales and service sector of our innovative and disruptive HVAC-R related business.  Focusing on selling to HVAC supply houses and mechanical contractors. Applicants must have prior, successful sales experience, but not necessarily in the HVAC or Contractor industries.  This position will focus on building our network of distributors / suppliers across the US while also building our network of mechanical contractors to create product demand for the growing supplier network.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of successful experience working in commission-based sales

Responsibilities

  • Initiating meetings with and selling to HVAC Suppliers
  • Selling and presenting to mechanical contractors, specifically to Service Managers
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations
  • Establish and maintain relationships from the senior level down through the organizations
  • Working with the technical team to schedule and conduct Group Trainings of mechanical contractors
  • Travel within your region and the domestic US (approx 1-2 days per week)
  • Leverage existing relationships and networks off the company and its board
  • Refine sales strategies based on feedback from all parties
  • Become fluent in company technology and products and relevant competitor products
  • Good computer skills and ability to commit to utilizing company CRM (Nutshell)
  • Utilizes company CRM to manage and maximize sales pipelines

Compensation

  • $80k Salary + Healthy Commission + Bonus
  • Earning potential > $250,000/yr. with solid performance

Logistics & Shipping Manager

Location: Irvine, CA

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to manage and execute the rapidly growing shipping and logistics needs of our innovative and disruptive HVAC-R related business.  Applicants must have an attention to detail, like working in a fast-paced environment and have experience with domestic and international shipping companies, and inventory management.

Assistant Controller

Location: Irvine, CA

April 2019

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to be a foundational
member of the finance & accounting team of our growing, venture-backed company which is
disrupting the heating and air conditioning industry with a mix of proprietary, innovative products
and a disruptive, forward-thinking business model. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for
driving key financial operations within the company while working closely with our outsourced
bookkeeping team. The role entails execution across all key accounting disciplines: A/P (bill
management, vendor payments/collections, employee expense and commission tracking &
reimbursement), A/R (sales order, invoicing, payment collection) and inventory management
(within the accounting system). Ancillary responsibilities include basic HR functions and other
routine accounting duties. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and has professional
growth upside.

Requirements

  • Irvine, CA location – NOT a remote job
  • Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Accounting or Accounting & Finance but not mandatory
  • QuickBooks Desktop experience (mandatory); (QuickBooks Online and/or Xero is a plus)
  • 3+ years of work experience in a professional accounting position
  • Ability to work with sensitive information while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
  • Results driven, hands-on, do what it takes attitude – willing to work beyond the job description to drive successful outcomes
  • Strong work ethic, sense of personal responsibility and integrity
  • Desire and aptitude to work in high energy startup culture where 9-5 is NOT the norm.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily oversight of, and work closely with, our outsourced bookkeeping group.
  • Oversight of GAAP-compliant financials and overall management of the accounting system; support monthly & quarterly closes and reporting
  • Use QuickBooks Desktop to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including generation of sales order, purchase orders & invoices, collection of vendor and customer materials (W-9s, wholesale certificates etc), and bill processing and payment.
  • Generate accounting reports as needed (IS, BS, AP & AR aging, etc)
  • Learn and work competently with 3rd party accounting support software including Bill.com, employee expense management software (Expensify or Tallie), and payroll software (TriNet or similar)
  • Facilitate timely review, approval and payment of employee expenses on a monthly basis
  • Work with operations team to ensure regular tracking and syncing of inventory with accounting systems. Troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Provide basic support of HR functions; monitor the Company’s HR & payroll vendor
    (TriNet); onboard and input new employees into the Company’s HR/payroll system; train
    employees how to on expense reporting and systems
  • Monitor and support need for renewal of company insurance policies, business licenses; and other routine business certifications
  • Basic monitoring and maintenance of accounting-specific functions of company CRM (Nutshell)

Compensation

  • $75k – $90k Base Salary with growth potential
